I
have found Linkage to be real experts in OD and HR and an immensely
helpful resource to the organisation, and in particular the
HR team.
One
of the most innovative interventions Linkage has provided for
us is the superb Excellence in Leadership programme.
As
part of a wider leadership capability strategy we use the videoconferences
at least four times a year to engage the top 100 managers across
the Group. We set up a forum for learning where individuals
get to network with their colleagues and discuss leadership
challenges and business issues.
They
then listen to a live presentation by satellite from a well-known
leadership 'guru' and have the opportunity to interact by asking
questions via email. So far we have managed to get a question
acknowledged and answered at each session!
This
method has been so successful as it has created contemporary
learning opportunities for senior management in a time and cost
effective manner and has allowed individuals' access to the
'gurus' with somewhat more regularity than they would have had.
More importantly, it creates a learning environment suitable
for the executive ego!
We
have also bought a number of licenses from Linkage for their
web-based Leadership Toolkit. This is another tool that managers
across the business have found immensely helpful providing just-in-time
leadership hints, tips and methodologies they can use as a development
intervention.
In
addition, I can heartily recommend the Linkage public programmes
having personally attended the Executive Leadership programme
and Organisation Analysis and Design. Linkage certainly understands
HR, OD, and business leadership, and they sit within my top
3 places to call for consultancy and learning resources.
