Ken Blanchard
Excellence in Leadership
and Management

To be an effective leader, how would
you behave?

One answer is to examine key competency areas: Vision and Direction, Equipping People, Positive Consequences and Sustainability.

The important thing about leadership is not what happens when you are there - effective leaders must move people from dependence to independence.

Effective leaders need to learn that sustaining performance requires learning the effect of four consequences - No Response, Negative Response, Positive Response and Redirection.

You will learn:

  • The keys to self leadership
  • How to be an effective manager in a one-on-one context
  • The elements of team Leadership
  • The essence of organisational leadership.
Ken Blanchard is Chairman of The Ken Blanchard Companies and
