Ken
Blanchard
Excellence in Leadership and Management
To be an effective leader, how would you behave?
One
answer is to examine key competency areas: Vision and Direction,
Equipping People, Positive Consequences and Sustainability.
The
important thing about leadership is not what happens when
you are there - effective leaders must move people from dependence
to independence.
Effective
leaders need to learn that sustaining performance requires
learning the effect of four consequences - No Response, Negative
Response, Positive Response and Redirection.
You
will learn:
- The keys to self leadership
- How to be an effective manager in a one-on-one context
- The elements of team Leadership
- The essence of organisational leadership.
